We keep a varied range of stainless steel sheet, plate and durbar treadplate in an array of sizes and thicknesses. See below our standard stock range.

Additonal bespoke finishes on mirror and satin polishing can be offered on request.

304 (1.4307/ 1.4301)

A low carbon stainless steel, weldable and resistant to corrosion and oxidation. Recommended for use with parts fabricated by welding and which cannot be subsequently annealed. Widely used in the nuclear industry.

Finishes available Thicknesses offered
2B (cold rolled) 0.5mm - 6mm
BA (bright annealed) 0.5mm - 2mm

Hot rolled 3mm - 12mm
Durbar treadplate 3mm - 6mm

316 (1.4404/ 1.4401)

A very low carbon stainless steel with superior resistance to intergranular corrosion following welding or stress relieving. Non magnetic when annealed, slightly magnetic when cold worked.

Finishes available Thicknesses offered
2B (cold rolled) 0.5mm - 6mm
MP1 (mirror polished) 0.7mm - 3mm

Hot rolled 3mm - 12mm

430 (1.4016)

A 17% chrome, low alloy ferretic steel that is non-hardenable and possessing only mild cold working properties due to the high chrome content. This alloy possesses good corrosion resistance properties up to a temperature of approximately 800 degrees celcius.

Finishes available Thicknesses offered
2B (cold rolled) 0.5mm - 2mm
BA (bright annealed) 0.7mm - 2mm
