Polishing
Orion Alloys offer in-house satin polishing services on two fully automated sheet polishing lines with a capacity of up to 6mm thick plate and a maximum width of 1500mm wide. We are the only stockholder in the South East of England to hold our own polishing lines. This enables us to offer a consistent and uniform finish competitively and faster than anyone else around. All our sheet can be tailored to suit your needs with a varied range of belts from 80 grit to 320 grit in silicon carbide and aluminium oxide finishes.

Shearing
Services
At Orion Alloys we offer a shearing service on our modern CNC controlled guillotine. We can cut from 0.7mm thick up to 4mm thick in stainless steel and brass and 6mm thick in aluminium. Our guillotine has the capacity to shear up to 3 meters in length. The Durma swing beam is of a very rigid box beam construction and it's design maintains a constant blade gap over the entire cut length providing excellent cut quality.

Sawing
Service
At Orion Alloys we offer a competitive bar and section sawing service. We can cut up to 16” diameter on our fully automated band saws. We can also cut a variety of sections; tubular, square or rectangular and any other items from our standard stainless steel, aluminium and brass stock range. All can be multi cut or single cut to precise dimensions.

Section Polishing
Unlike other stockholders, Orion Alloys has the ability to polish sections in-house. With machinery capable of polishing from 10mm - 250mm in diameter and 300mm width, we can offer most of our standard stock range of all alloys in finishes to suit your requirements. We keep a large inventory of polishing belts to enable us to offer abrasive grit finishes ranging from 36 grit to 1000 grit and Scotch Brite polishing.

Folding
We possess the ability to offer a folding service using a state of the art press brake. We can fold all of our stock alloys; stainless steel, aluminium and brass, to customers dimensions and lengths as required. We work to fast lead times to enable customers to meet their project deadlines on-time.
